The Thermoplastic Fire Hose Reels are designed for reliable and efficient use in firefighting systems. Manufactured using a thermoplastic hybrid compound, these hoses conform to the BIS Standard IS: 12585:1988, ensuring top performance in fire safety applications. Available in 20mm (3/4″) and 25mm (1″) sizes for fire hose reels and 12.5mm (1/2″) for extinguisher discharge hoses, these hoses offer versatile use in different firefighting setups.
The TYPE-2 variant is built to withstand high working pressures of 10.2 Kgs/Cm² and bursting pressures up to 32.5 Kgs/Cm², providing exceptional strength in emergencies. The hoses are reinforced with high-quality nylon braided yarn, ensuring superior durability and resistance to wear. Adhesion between the lining and covers meets a minimum of 1.4 kN/m, as per IS: 3400 (Part-24):2001/ISO 8033: 1991 standards.
With a flexible bend radius (5 times the nominal bore size as per IS 12656:1989), these hoses can operate without kinking or collapsing even in high-stress situations. The hoses are also lab-tested to function effectively at certified pressures and can work at temperatures up to 65°C. The Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC) material used has a high melting point of approximately 182°C, ensuring that the hoses remain functional in extreme conditions.
